If you need any extra hours or would like to use any funded hours that you’re not using please let a member of staff know.

Easter Bonnet Parade

Children can make bonnets/hats at home and bring them to pre-school to wear in the parade which will start at 11.15 and finish as per the normal session on Friday 27th March. If this is not your child’s normal session, they are very welcome to come along at 11.15 with their adult to take part. There will be a prize for the best bonnet/hat and a small prize for each child that enters.

Could we please ask that in line with our safeguarding procedures that if your child is unable to attend pre-school you give us a call on the morning of their absence.

Also, if there is someone different picking your child up could you please let us know in advance and we can arrange the necessary procedures.

Healthy Under 5’s

We have recently been contacted by Public Health England to help them with a dental epidemiology programme. The overall aim is to support actions to improve oral health, reduce health inequalities and to improve the provision of treatment services. We will be speaking to parents whose children meet the age requirement to see if they could help with the survey. Meanwhile please find attached a leaflet promoting Dental Health.

Invitation from the Mayor

We have had an invitation from the Mayor of Saltash, Councillor Gloria Challen, to attend the Civic Service on Sunday 15th March 2020 at St Nicholas and St Faith Church. The service will start at 2pm so we should arrive by 1.50pm with refreshments at the Guildhall afterwards. She would like our children to sing a song and represent the pre-school, as she will be promoting the replacement of the windows in the pre-school and any monies raised will be sign posted for these. It is very important to the pre-school to gain as much support as possible to replace these windows so we would be very grateful if you could attend. Parents may not be able to sit with their children at the front, but the pre-school ladies will be there.

World Book Day

Thursday 5th March is World Book Day. The children can come in fancy dress and bring in their favourite book. Could children please wear layers under their costume as the weather is meant to be a little cold.
