SSNF Preschool aim is to provide a safe and supportive environment within which your child is able to learn and develop as an individual. We achieve this by maintaining a balance of free choice and adult led experiences, and embracing “learning through play”
- Respect for each other
- Variety and choice for each child to support their learning experience within the EYFS Framework
- Positive relationships with parents, whose involvement shapes the success of the pre-school
- The continued development of our experienced and qualified staff
We employ four dedicated members of staff to care for your child within the preschool.
The preschool is led by Tracey Pritchard who joined us in 2014.
The preschool is managed by an elected committee of unpaid volunteers. This ensures that major decisions are in the hands of the parents who use the group. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions to put to the committee please contact us.
The team consists of:
- Tracey Pritchard
- Sadie Way
- Karan Goulty
- Rachel Denley
All of our staff undertake regular training to keep up to date with the latest qualifications.
SSNF Preschool operates from the main hall at St Nicholas & St Faith Church. We have a large open-plan indoor area which we use to offer a range of activities and enable your child to get a broad experience whilst covering all of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework. We also benefit from a secure enclosed rear garden which allows the children to play and undertake a range of outdoor activities, including growing vegetables!
